What You’ll Be Doing (It’s More Than Just Numbers!):

• Lead the Way: Oversee all things finance—budgeting, forecasting, reporting—and keep us on track to meet our goals.
• Be Our Financial Navigator: Guide us on the financial impact of different business strategies and customer partnerships.
• Crunch the Numbers, Drive the Mission: Collaborate with our CEO and team to analyze the financial side of our tech and products, ensuring we’re delivering value for our customers and investors.
• Fund the Future: Lead efforts to secure non-dilutive financing (think grants, loans) and help make AirForestry bankable. You’ll work hand-in-hand with our Executive Chair, CEO, CCO, and Head of Marketing.
• Get Ready for Takeoff: Play a key role in executing our next successful fundraising round.
• Make an Impact: Partner with our Business Development team to align financial goals with environmental benefits. Because numbers do tell a story, and we want ours to be about positive change!

What You Bring to the Table:

• Finance Know-How: You’ve got 5+ years of experience under your belt—maybe you started as a management consultant in the finance world and then joined an in-house finance or analytics team. You know your numbers, but you also know how to use them to drive smart decisions.
• A Good Foundation: You’ve got a degree in something relevant like finance, financial mathematics, economics, or a related field—but what really sets you apart is how you apply that knowledge in creative, real-world ways.
• Communication Champ: You’re fluent in English and can explain complex financial stuff in a way that everyone can understand—whether you’re talking to investors, teammates, or writing reports.
• Detail Detective: You’ve got a sharp eye for the finer details and aren’t afraid to dive deep into complex financial data. You love uncovering insights that others might miss—and turning those insights into action.
• Strategic Sidekick: You’re excited to be a pivotal right hand to our CEO and Executive Chair. You thrive in a collaborative environment, love sharing ideas, and are eager to play a key role in shaping AirForestry’s future.

It’s a plus if…

• You have experience from venture financing or securing non-dilutive funding like EU grants, loans, or even biodiversity credits, where you know how to find the resources to fuel growth.
• Bonus Points if You Love Forests as Much as We Do! 🌲 Whether you’re a forest owner, an outdoor enthusiast, or have experience working with forests, your passion for nature will feel right at home here. Not required, but it’s definitely a plus!
